Greenfield Community College

Shadley Associates is currently working with Gensler on the renovation of Greenfield Community College, which is a project administered by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM). The primary goal of the project is the core modernization of the school’s central building complex. As part of that renovation, the new landscape will create a series of landscape terraces and an outdoor plaza adjacent to a new campus quad that will serve as a gathering place for the commuter students. Universal access is a key component of the site program along with a low maintenance native landscape and sustainable design principles. Design phase services are currently underway and construction has an estimated start in the fall of 2009.
