Mountain View Grand Resort

In 2005, Shadley Associates prepared conceptual design drawings for the expansion of the Mountain View Grand Resort as part of a design competition. The design work included the expansion of the resort’s golf course from nine to eighteen holes, the creation of golf course housing, and the addition of several resort amenities such as a wellness facility, expanded conference and function facilities, a state-of-the-art spa, and expanded trails and equestrian facilities. The proposed site plan took advantage of the site’s many natural features and avoided critical wetlands and regulated areas. While not selected as the winning team, Shadley Associates and the H.L. Turner Group created many design features that were later incorporated into the resort’s expansion plans.
