620 West Third Street

Shadley Associates provided streetscape design to Realm Construction for their building at 620 West Third Street in Louisville, Kentucky. New cast stone planters step up to meet the existing planters at the entry to the building, providing a transition in the scale from the sidewalk to the building, and integrating the streetscape with the handsome building massing. Plantings soften the sidewalk and screen the parking lot, and new cast iron street lights brighten the walk.

Improvements to the building include pendant lights at the main entry, new handrails, new building signage, pennant flags, building uplighting, steel frame tracery to demarcate the second building entry, and consolidation of the façade on the upper floors. The construction of the project has recently been completed.
